  • I don’t always feel like showing up—but I’ve learned that real success is built on the days I follow through even when I’m not motivated.
  • Motivation is temporary, but momentum is built through consistency—especially with a bare minimum list for low-energy days.
  • My list includes things like movement, posting, reading, and hydration—and I do at least one when I’m feeling off.
  • This week, a literal waterspout/tornado in our neighborhood reminded me that I get to choose my response and shift my state.
  • You don’t need to feel ready—you just need to take the next small step. Let this be your “waterspout moment.”

Show up anyway!

Let’s be real....... you're not always going to feel like it!

And that's ok! What matters more than feeling ready is choosing to follow through anyway!

Because the truth is - SUCCESS doesn't come from the days you're motivated.

It comes from the days you're NOT, but you keep going anyway!

Motivation is fleeting, but MOMENTUM is built!

This is why it's really helpful to have a "bare minimum" list.

All it is, is a list of the bare minimum things you're going to commit to doing even on those days when you don't feel like doing anything.

It could be simple things like:

  • Making the post on social media
  • Connecting with ONE person
  • Reading 5 pages of your personal development book

You can make this list whatever you want it to be, but the point is that you need SOMETHING written down so that way when you're lacking the energy you can look to the list and know you must get these certain things done no matter what.

It's giving yourself some GRACE because we all have days like this.

And then you can go kick ass and take names when you're feeling on top of the world and your energy is high!

⭐ Your Action Step for this week!

Make a bare minimum list for your low energy days (mine includes movement, a post, reading, and water ☕️).

Then do ONE of them the next time motivation is nowhere to be found! 

Remember, you don't need to do it all, you just need to do SOMETHING!


🗣️ REAL TALK MOMENT:

I almost didn’t record this week’s podcast episode.

I was tired. Unmotivated. Just not feelin it...and my head wasn’t in it.

As I was about to push it off to "later" something INSANE happened!

A MASSIVE water spout, which we didn't realize was a water spout at the time, because it looked like a massive tonado legit in our neighborhood, was swirling around right out my back window!! (yep—Florida is wild 🌪️).

My kids were panicking. 

Keegan, my little 5 year old was crying and screaming "I don't want to die!"

I was spiraling......and panicking  trying to figure out where the safest place would be for us all to take shelter. (either the laundry room or my husbands closet)

I'm talking this was like straight out of a movie! HUGE, powerful and impossible to ignore!A total...."HOLY SH*T, is this really happening right now????"

Let me tell ya - it immediately pulled me out of the "funk" I was in!

But that chaos? It reminded me I had a choice!

I could wait for motivation... or I could SHIFT my state.....which thank you massive water spouts for shifting my state! 😂

After things settled, I sat down, prepped and recorded my podcast episode and boy was I on FIRE recording that one!

Sometimes the breakthrough isn’t found in doing more - it’s in doing something that reminds you who you are.

So if you've been waiting to feel ready, maybe this can be your "waterspout moment" too!

You don't need more motivation, you need a spark! SO let this be the spark you need!
