[00:00:00]
[00:01:00] Hey, my friend, what is up? And welcome back to another episode of Do Life Big. Today I wanna talk about something that I think is one of the most powerful truths that you can hold when life feels messy, overwhelming, or maybe even when things just feel like impossible at the moment. And it's this right here, this very thing.
That is that everything has a solution. Have you heard that phrase before where people say everything is figureoutable? I remember I heard that years ago, and it is so true. Now, listen, I don't mean that everything is going to be easy breezy. I don't mean that everything is going to happen instantly for you and overnight, and I definitely don't mean that the solution is always the one that you want, but no matter what you're facing.
Whether that's in business, parenting, relationships, your finances, or even your own mindset, which is I feel the most [00:02:00] important thing. There's always a way forward. There's always a way through something no matter what, always. So I want you to think about it. How many times in your life have you faced something that felt like you just ran into a brick wall?
Maybe you thought to yourself, I don't know how the heck I'm even going to get through this. We can all relate to this. This has happened to every single one of us. And yet no matter what, no matter how many times it felt like you were driving into a brick wall and you felt like there was no way through it, you did find a way, didn't you?
Because you're here right now. You found a way through it. And here you are and it might not have been perfect, and maybe it wasn't the way that you pictured it, but there was a solution through that brick wall. The problem is most people get stuck, not because there's no solution, but because they stop looking for one, and they give up way too soon, and they start to tell themselves things like, this is just the way it is.
I guess I'm stuck here. But you have to think [00:03:00] outside the box sometimes, we're very narrow minded, especially when we're in the. Thick of it, and sometimes it's hard to see outside of the box and sometimes you need someone else to see what you're going through from the outside looking in to be able to help you give you the solution to go through that brick wall.
So the truth is you never really are truly stuck. The solution might be hidden, sometimes it might require some, major creativity. A lot of patients are asking for help, but it's always right there. So I like to think of it this way, right? Just picture life as this gigantic puzzle and you're putting this puzzle together and some pieces they just take longer to find.
And some you pick up and you put them in place and they don't fit, and they don't fit the way that you expect them to, and you have to switch them out and you have to find another piece. But you keep trying, you keep shifting the puzzle pieces, flipping them around, putting them in different positions, trying different ones.
Until you eventually get the piece that locks into place, you eventually get the piece that [00:04:00] clicks to complete the puzzle. It's the same exact thing when we're talking about life. When you feel like there's no way around something and your back is up against the wall.
So for example, in business, maybe your sales have been down and the solution could just be simply tweaking your messaging or changing your strategy or shifting your energy. Your energy is huge. This plays a role. Way more than you think. And honestly, I think it's probably the most important thing that will determine your outcome no matter what you have going on in your life is your energy.
So those are some examples of in business. What about in relationships? Maybe you're feeling really disconnected in your relationships and the solution might be just simply having a conversation that you've been avoiding, or even just choosing to listen instead of sitting there and defending yourselves in relationships a lot of times.
It's just a lack of communication, and if you can just take the time to just communicate, you'll be able to work your way through it and in your mindset. If you feel like you've been completely unmotivated, you're not [00:05:00] inspired anymore, the solution could just be just moving your body or just getting outside.
And most importantly. Could be just, making sure that you're surrounding yourself with people who lift you up, people who lift you up and make you feel better. People who, when you are around them, you feel better after being around them than before they came into your little circle. So solutions don't always look glamorous.
They're not fancy, nothing like that. Sometimes they're just these super small, simple shifts that create massive ripple effects. So here's the real kicker. And this is like the secret sauce to it all. So I hope that you're paying attention, but when you believe there's always a solution, you approach problems differently.
You do. If you are someone who believes that there is a solution to everything, you are going to go after whatever it is that you want in business, life, relationships, financial things, whatever. It is completely relentless, almost like you're unstoppable and you're not [00:06:00] being naive to the fact that.
There's not going to be any problems. You are well aware that you most definitely are going to hit brick walls and have problems, but you go into it with a different mindset. You go into it with a mindset of, alright, there's gonna be problems along the way. It's no big deal. I'll worry about it when it happens and when it happens.
I know I'm gonna figure it out and I know I'm going to work my way through it. But that's not how everybody approaches it. So instead of spiraling into stress or victimhood, you've gotta start asking better questions. Better questions are the key to your answers. Questions what's another way that I can look at this?
Who can I help? What is this trying to teach me? What if the solution is already right in front of me and I'm just not seeing it? And that mindset shift changes everything for you. Because the only people who stay stuck are the ones who decide that there is no way out. The only time that you will ever be stuck is if you tell yourself the bullshit story that I guess this is [00:07:00] just how it's supposed to be.
Oh, this is just, it is what it is. If you tell yourself that story, you are screwed. That is the victim mindset. That is a scarcity mindset. That is a fear-based mentality, and that is not going to get you to go through the wall. So I want you to start to really approach life with that attitude of, you know what, everything is figureoutable.
There is a solution to it, and it may not be what I want it to be. I may have to think outside the box and get creative with it. I may have to have a shit ton of patience. But we're gonna figure it out. We're gonna get through it. We're gonna come out on the other side just like every other time in life where we felt like we hit a brick wall and we weren't going to get through it.
We did so the next time that you're staring at a problem, whether it's big or small, just remind yourself, okay, this has a solution. And it might not be the solution that you pictured. It may take longer than you want, but it exists. It totally does. And your job isn't to have all the answers right now on the spot.
Your job [00:08:00] is to just believe that the answer is actually out there, and then take the next best step forward baby steps. Because when you hold onto that belief, you stop seeing problems as these dead ends and you start seeing them as detours. And guess what? With detours, they still get you to where you're meant to go, right?
It may be a little bit of a roundabout way. It might take a little longer. You might hit a couple potholes, but it's going to lead you to your destination. And the only way to not get to your destination is to live with that victim mentality of it is what it is. This is how it is. I'm screwed. There's no way out of it.
But you're here listening to this Do Life big podcast because you don't have that frame of mind, right? You wanna do life big. You are all about living your best life possible and personally growing. And guess what? We grow and we learn through the pains that we go through in life. Plain and simple, everything is learning.
Every single thing is [00:09:00] learning. So that is your reminder today, my friend, that everything has a solution. I don't want you to give up, before you find yours, and if this message hit home, share it with someone who needs that reminder right now. Tag me at @katherinereuter on Instagram because listen, we all need that little nudge sometimes to keep going, right?
It feels good when someone's like, you got this? Just keep going. The only way to fail is if you stop or completely quit. And we don't do quitting here. We're no quitters. We might pivot, we might shift, we might stumble, we May 2nd guess. We may hit brick walls, but we will always find a way and we will always keep going.
So thanks so much for tuning in. You know, I love you. You know, I think that you are so awesome and I want you to go out there and do life big today, and I will see you the next time. Bye bye. [00:10:00]
